One big learning we get when talking with international peers is – we see the world of B2B marketing converging worldwide.

1. marketing priority by far – increasing sales leads-CHECK

2. Millenials enter the buying group & influencing buying-CHECK

3. Number of decision makers increasing – CHECK

4. Consumerisation of B2B buying – CHECK

5. Personalisation in Marketing – even more now – CHECK

6. Buyers now want to know pricing upfront– we see that in India too

7. Ratings & review sites becoming important – not that much here yet

8. Biggest marketing spend – Website development; Digital Marketing; & then Events.

It’s a bit different here with website & Digital spending less – not because of priority but relatively lesser costs! So in 6 out of 8 datapoints – B2B marketing in India is quite similar to that in the USA.
