Helping your sales team move fast!

If you are a CEO/Marketeer/ new Sales Manager looking at helping your sales team – one of the most important things to do is to enable them to move fast! Sales is a contacts sport. The more qualified prospects a salesperson connects with 1-1 – other things being equal, higher are the chances of sales success. A marketer or CEO has the luxury of working on perfecting their messages to the nth degree – as the messages are going from 1 to many.

But if you expect a salesperson to do the same – you are setting up for failure.
Why?

A salesperson can spend a few minutes – and not more on each message – they need to personalize it to be successful. But if you are asking them to customize the message + personalize it – you are failing them. The system breaks. In all our sales+marketing consulting projects, I insist on making our sales collateral & sales messages as simple, easy-to-use, & templatized as possible! Salespersons are not idiots – we need to give them idiot-proof content to succeed!
