Nithin Kamath’s posts are highly authentic & straight from the heart. When he talks about how his learnings from Zerodha’s growth we should listen. Some lessons derived from his posts:

#1 We shouldn’t try to cut-copy-paste what others are doing. Our instincts on what is right will work better when you build a business/career around what we love.

#2 The odds of finding what you love is higher when you take a shot at as many new things as possible. Most of us will not be lucky to find this love amongst the books in schools and colleges. We should seek internships/experiment with new service lines.

#3 Once we start building a business (or career) prioritizing what is right for the customer over what will give us instant revenue in today’s super-connected world will bring you network effect & organic growth.

#4 Eventually the better product (or service) wins, everything else is noise. Our team is going to build the product and they are all we have, they are more important than the business itself.
Having chosen the right co./path your colleagues/team are the biggest determinants of our success. We should be investing in the relationships!
