Dilemma of a topgun sales executive

You are a hotshot sales exec. who exceeds his quota every year and get the variable comp.  and the glory for your wins. Do you  honestly heart-of-heart need to  thank anyone for your success OR is the glory yours & yours only? Your job is on the line every year / and  winning business doesn’t get easier every year. The others don’t get an iota of the pressures & challenges you face on  a daily basis.

Or hold on. Isnt Sales a Team game? Just like a fighter pilot needs Air Traffic Controller &  Aircraft Engineer  (the guy who checked his parachute & aircraft engine)  to be r-e-a-l-l-y  effective – shouldn’t you be needing  Sales Enablers – Ops/Marketing/Pre-sales to be effective?
